Booking conditions

Be careful
Anything owned by the client is under his own responsibility. They are not covered by an insurance from LES CHALETS DU JARDIN ALPIN. The client has therefore to contract an insurance for his properties, and above all against thief of skis left in ski lockers or parking or any public place.

1. Main Services

Your apartment is situated in a standard residence including chalets built in traditional style (wood, stone, slates rooves). Les Chalets du Jardin Alpin is situated in a residential part of Val d'Isère at the foot of the Solaise massif, doorstep skiing, next to the ski lifts of Solaise and Bellevarde. A free shuttled bus service is running from the residence area in direction of the historical center of Val d'Isère at about 800m.

Each apartment is equipped with a dishwasher, combined oven, a satellite TV, direct phone, safe. The booking includes linen and towels as well as a regular light cleaning and final cleaning. Extras services are proposed with extra charge such as: covered parking (included in summer only), bakery service, breakfast, laundry service, rental of cots.
The residence has got a luggage room with showers and cloakrooms and wireless.

 

2. Option

You can take an option (valid for 7 days) at LES CHALETS DU JARDIN ALPIN on the phone (+33.4.79.06.75.00) or by fax (+33.4.79.06.75.01) or by e mail to infos@chaletsalpins.com or by the website. The confirmation is made by paying a deposit of 25% of the total amount before the option deadline.
In case of cancellation, the deposit is not refundable. (See paragraph 4 for cancellation fees).

 

3. Booking / Confirmation

The booking is confirmed at reception of contract that acknowledge receipt of the 25% deposit received before the option deadline. The balance of the stay is to be paid one month before arrival.

Bookings are contracted for a minimum of 7 nights from Saturday until Saturday, except exceptional case for certain periods, as specified on price lists and on the options. Except opposite mention, the stays are from Saturday 5pm till Saturday 10am. Additional nights to those on the contracts are billed 25% of the basic price (on request and depending on availabilities).

 

4. Prices and extras charges

You will have to add a damage guarantee deposit of 350 euros per apartment. This deposit can be given by credit card (except American express or diners) or by check in euros.

The damage guarantee deposit, reduced by eventual charges of breaking or other problems, is given back on departure (except if you are leaving in the night, in that case, we will send it back by mail).

For foreign customers, the damage guarantee deposit, reduced of eventual charges of breaking or other problems, is sent back by mail.

At the end of your stay, you will have to add the local taxes: 0.90 euros per night per adult, as well as your extras.

In case of cancellation, the cancellation fees are:
• From the confirmation to 30 days before arrival: 25% of the total amount of the booking.
• from 29 to 15 days before arrival : 50% of the total amount of the booking.
• from 14 to 07 days before arrival : 75 % of the total amount of the booking.
• less than 7 days before arrival and no-show : 100% of the total amount of the booking.

The booking does not include any insurance for cancellation.

 

5. Reception and keys

Keys are given at reception of CHALETS DU JARDIN ALPIN (area of LA LEGETTAZ just after CLUB MED), between 5pm and 7pm, if you were to arrive after 7pm we would be grateful if you could call us to take all dispositions to leave you the keys of your apartment.

Every broken or lost key will be charged

6. Occupation

On arrival you will be given a dishes inventory. Every complaint about the apartment and the inventory must be made in the next 24 hours after keys have been given. Every missing or broken things will be billed on departure.

The occupancy dates and the departure time (10am) must be strictly respected.

The apartment must be given back in a normal state, washing up done and dishes tidy, bed linen taken off, empty rubbish, if contrary we would have to charge you 38 euros for extras housekeeping.

7. Special conditions

Customers are asked:
• to take care of the apartment.
• not to be more people than the number indicated on the contract which is equivalent to the bedding equipment given for the apartment.
• to respect instructions concerning energy safety, notably in avoiding leaving windows opened and the heating on to prevent the risks of frost.
• to respect the rules of the chalets, notably concerning the obligation of quietness after 10pm.

8. Phone

Each apartment is equipped with a phone with a direct line. The line is open on your arrival. The payment of phone calls will be done depending on the detail of your phone calls given on departure.
